Art Site Fest

The Museo Egizio joins the project Art Site Fest and houses the photographs by Lebanese artist Joseph Eid, from the 21st of September to the 25th of November 2018.

Eid is a press photographer who is also interested in investigating with his work social issues and individual struggles.



The artist shows a selection of photos of Palmira that witness the frailty of archaeological heritage and the need for protection.



Moreover, the images by Eid also portray the story of Mohamed Anis, a man fond of music and vintage cars, who survived the bombing that have destroyed his apartment.

This is the story of the collector from Aleppo that moved the entire world, and it tells us how art can give us hope for the future.
