From Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, from October 31 to November 2, 2025, the conference hall will host the video work Cabaret Crusades: The Horror Show Files by Wael Shawky (Alexandria, Egypt, 1971).
The work reconstructs the Crusades from a non-European perspective, recounting their tragic events through the puppets of the Lupi Collection in Turin. Through these figures, the artist evokes the idea of control and offers a moment of reflection on the manipulation of historical narrative.
Free admission to the conference hall from Via Maria Vittoria 3m.
This initiative continues the dialogue between contemporary art and the Museo Egizio, which has long critically reflected on the history of its collection and on the theme of decolonization, offering new perspectives on artifacts and historical events through the gaze of contemporary artists.
