From Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The Museo Egizio and ACME, Amici e Collaboratori del Museo Egizio Association, present the conferences for the 2019/2020 season, a high-profile programme focused on research to egyptology, museums and archives.
These conferences aim to share and spread notable results and advances in ongoing studies. These events allow the museum and their audience to establish important international connections, to foster these international connections further the conferences host in the museum will be held both by Italian and international guest speakers, in English.
The simultaneous translation service in Italian language and streaming, will allow a large audience to follow the conferences. Streaming can be viewed through the Facebook page and the YouTube channel of the Museum.
With research as main focus, the Museo Egizio seeks to be the perfect stage for egyptologists and the entire scientific community to spread information on the heterogeneous research activities.
The first conference of the season will be held on 3 September, 2019, presented by Dr. Massimiliano Nuzzolo with the title:"La pietra di Palermo: nuove ricerche e scoperte sul più antico annale regale egizio".
The next English-language conference will be held on 15 October 2019. Stay tuned!
