GUIDELINES OF THE MUSEUM

NUOVE TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE VISITOR

  • TICKET
    • the ticket consists of a graphically customized wristband containing a RFID chip (Radio-Frequency IDentification, system for the identification and / or memory of automatic data). As of now this technology allows you to monitor in real time flows and permanence of the public in different rooms.

  • VIDEOGUIDA
    • each visitor will be given a video guide, a new generation of equipment that will give the opportunity to choose itineraries differentiated in content and duration (eg. The masterpieces of the Egyptian Museum 120 ‘- Daily life, Deir el Medina, and Tomb of Kha 90 ‘, etc.)

  • GROUP TOUR

    • each group led by Egyptologists or tour guides will be equipped with group tour, a very light and practical equipment that minimizes the noise pollution of the environment by putting in audio connection the group with the guide. The group tour of the Egyptian Museum is included in the ticket for Egyptologists-led groups or will cost 1 € per person for groups led by tour guides. Its adoption will be mandatory in order to to avoid any overlapping of different radio frequencies.

  • SUPPORTI MULTIMEDIALI
    • The tour of the new Egyptian Museum will also be punctuated by multimedia supports that in specific subject areas will provide further information to the visitor by eg. 3D reconstruction of archaeological contexts, artifacts provenance maps , etc.).
