On Monday, June 8, 2026, the Museo Egizio signed an important agreement with Gaudium Associates that will bring Ancient Egypt to South Korea through a new traveling exhibition project. The exhibition "Revealing Ancient Egypt" will be presented at the Sejong Museum of Art in Seoul and the Keimyung University Haengso Museum in Daegu.

The opening of the first venue is scheduled for May 2027.

A total of 343 artifacts will be displayed, most of them coming from the Museum’s storage collections. This represents a significant opportunity to enhance and make the collection more accessible.

This is an important step toward an increasingly international dimension, with the aim of sharing and promoting knowledge of Nile civilization to an ever wider audience.
