LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING
The personal data indicated in this page is processed by Fondazione Museo delle Antichità Egizie di Torino (hereinafter "FME") in the performance of its tasks and in the pursuit of its public interest and for the dissemination of science, including improving website navigation and the collection of useful information.
The Data Controller processes Personal Data concerning the User in the following cases:

TYPE OF DATA AND PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Navigation data
The website IT systems and software procedures acquire, in the course of their regular operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.
This includes IP addresses and domain names identifying computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) of requested resources, query time, the method used to query the server, the size of the response file, the code number indicating the status of the server's response (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters concerning the operating system and the user's IT environment.
This data is necessary to access web services and is also used to:
- obtain statistical information on service usage (most visited pages, number of hourly / daily visitors, visitor breakdown by geographical area, etc.);
- check the correct functioning of available services.
Navigation data has a duration of no more than seven days and is promptly deleted after being aggregated (except in case of criminal investigations by the relevant Authorities).
Data communicated by the user
The data included in optional, explicit, and voluntary messages sent to the FME as well as in forms filled out and sent via the Museo Egizio website entail the acquisition of the sender's contact data that is necessary to reply, as well as of all personal data contained in those communications.
Specific information will be published on the pages of museoegizio.it's third-level sites in order to provide specific services.
Cookies and other tracking systems
No cookies are used for user profiling and no other tracking systems are used.
Non-persistent session cookies are used only to the extent necessary to ensure the safe and efficient navigation of the sites. The storage of session cookies in computer terminals or browsers is controlled by the user. On servers, at the end of HTTP sessions, cookie information is recorded in service logs and is preserved for no more than seven days, like other navigation data.

The data collected from users when they visit the websites listed above is received by the following subjects designated by the Authority for Privacy, pursuant to art. 28 of the Regulation, as data controllers:
Enhancers srl, concerning the websites www.museoegizo.it, www.museoegizio.org, as the provider of web development and maintenance services;
Franco Cosimo Panini Editore, concerning the website rivista.museoegizio.it, shop.museoegizio.it as the developer, provider and manager of the technological platforms used.
Zetcom AG - concerning the website collezioni.museoegizio.it, as the developer, provider and manager of the technological platforms used.
The collected personal data is also processed by FME personnel, acting according to specific instructions provided for the exclusive purpose of the processing of the said data.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES
The interested parties have the right to obtain from FME, in the cases envisaged, access to their personal data or the modification or cancellation thereof or the limitation of their processing, or they may oppose their processing (artt. 15 and subs. of the Regulation). RIGHT TO COMPLAIN

4) PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING

Personal data provided are processed by the FME in regard to managing the Museo Egizio Newsletter service. The newsletter is distributed via email - automatically and free of charge - to anyone who requests to receive it by filling in the specific form, or who requests it or has requested it explicitly in the past on any of the various FME communication channels.

The newsletter subscription form may ask you to provide, on an optional basis, other data in order to be able to make targeted communications (for example: your date of birth for the “Birthday” communication initiative, etc.); failure to provide this data does not affect your right to use the newsletter service; agreeing applies to all the data provided with reference to the stated purpose. The list below shows the different purposes for which data can be processed (F) and the respective legal basis (B):

1) F: Send newsletters on the activities at the Museo Egizio by FME.

3) F: Promotion of fundraising by FME for the enhancement and management of cultural assets, or those in its possession, received or acquired for any reason, and museum activities, as well as related promotion, communication, and training activities.

Agreeing to the processing of data for (2) is optional; therefore, refusing to agree to having data processed with regard to (2) the data shall be processed only for the newsletter service (1), and (3) for which consent is not required.

Personal data is stored for no longer than it takes to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and processed.

DATA RECIPIENTS

The personal data of the newsletter subscribers may be processed by the employees and/or the employees of companies working for the FME (see below). These people are formally appointed as “authorised processors” and shall process users’ data exclusively for the purposes indicated in this herein and in compliance with the provisions stipulated in the Regulation.

Personal data may also be processed by third parties appointed to do so on behalf of the FME as “external data processors” pursuant to article 28 of the Regulation, for example, IT and logistic services suppliers needed to fulfil agreed services, professionals, and consultants.

RIGHTS OF INTERESTED PARTIES

In the cases provided for, interested parties have the right to have access to their personal data stored by the FME and request rectification or cancellation thereof or limit the processing of data that concerns them, or object to data processing (art. 15 et seq. of the Regulation). RIGHT OF COMPLAINTS
