Lost and found and cloakroom

During this phase of museum transformation, the cloakroom is not available: it is not possible to leave bags, umbrellas, or luggage.
Access to the galleries is not permitted with any type of suitcase, large bag, or scooter.

To access the Museum and ensure everyone’s safety, visitors' bags must go through security inspection, before the entrance to the ticket office. Items judged unsuitable (scissors, blades, nail files, Swiss knives, etc.) must be deposited with the security personnel. (These items can also be retrieved from them at the end of the visit.)

All objects, lost, mislaid or forgotten on visits to the Museo Egizio, if found in the museum, will be kept for about one month.

The message should contain:

given name;

surname;

telephone number;

type of object, with a description of it, or type of document (passport, driving license or other);

the date you lost the item.

All emails will receive an answer within 1-2 working days.
The lost property office is open Monday to Friday, 10.00-13.00 / 15.00-17.00.
